I passionately believe that training must make a real difference: to staff, to the organisation and ultimately to our service users or customers by:
- Assisting individuals to unlock their potential; I provide knowledge and the opportunity to practice and reflect upon new and existing skills within a safe environment. I recognise also that too many of us are limited by past experiences which lead us to believe that we are not as capable/able as we truly are. Such experiences may result in a lack of confidence or low self-esteem. I believe that if we re-frame past experiences we can leave behind negative beliefs; this enables us to develop, with confidence, new and successful patterns of behaviour.
- Working in partnership with clients – offering a complete service from organisational training needs analysis, specific course development and delivery through to coaching, policy development/revision and consultancy after a course. Clients are able to ‘cherry pick’ those elements of the service that they require.
- Being open, honest and working with integrity with clients.
- Making training fun and accessible to staff at all levels
- Retaining a pragmatic approach -participants get the best from training when it is strongly rooted in their day-to-day work and when the Trainer demonstrates an understanding of the realities of their roles.
You will find a list of standard courses which I run regularly on this site: these would, naturally, be tailored to meet your specific requirements. Many of these courses were originally developed to meet a client’s particular needs and I would be pleased to do the same for you e.g. ensuring reference to your specific policies/procedures.
